Da Nang Port (DANANG PORT JOINT STOCK COMPANY) is a major port system located in Central of Viet Nam located with East Viet Nam Sea. It is the third largest port system in Vietnam (After Sai Gon and Hai Phong Port). Da Nang Port lies at one end of the East-West Economic Corridor connecting Vietnam, Lao, Thailand and Myanmar (Burma)..

Basic information of Da Nang cluster ports are list out below:

• Total length: 7km
• Channel depth average: ~11m.
• Maximum draft: 12m.
• Maximum size of vessel: 70,000DWT for Bulk Carrier; 150,000GRT (335m) for Cruise, passenger ship.
• Infrastructure and equipment of each Wharf belong to Da Nang Port:

Tien Sa Seaport has a navigation depth of 11m and is able to receive tankers of up to 45,000DWT, as well as container ships of up to 2,000TEU and large cruise ships of up to 75,000 GRT. The terminal has five berths in total with total length more than 1000m.Da Nang is a modern port that fully equip include: 40Ton Gantry Crane), RTG, Liebherr and other support facilities like forklifts, movable crane… Da Nang Port consists of two main terminals: Tien Sa Seaport and Song Han Terminal.

Tien Sa Seaport has a navigation depth of 11m and is able to receive tankers of up to 45,000DWT, as well as container ships of up to 2,000TEU and large cruise ships of up to 75,000GRT. The terminal has five berths in total with total length more than 1000m.

Song Han Terminal is about 22 km long with a navigation depth of 6-7m. The terminal has five berths, located along the shore.

Our company has done several jobs at Da Nang Port, but the biggest job we done over there is support a vessel to Docking at Dung Quat shipyard. The Ship has damage at bulbous and propeller seal leaking. The first plan is to do ‘trimmed by the head’ to perform seal replace and repair the hull damage at bulbous. However the ship length is quite long (Over than 250metres), so to maintain the safety, we decided to take her to Docking to have proper repair.
