EXHAUST PIPE REPLACE – SHIP REPAIR IN VIET NAM
Heart of motor vessel always is main engine, beside that generator is also very importance engine part of the vessel. Auxiliary generator supply all electric to the vessel.
Time by time, the exhaust pipe with impact of environment: Whether, rain, hot fume from the generator… make it corroded, damaged. Even the exhaust pipe was cover by insulation to prevent it, it is also happen normally.
The pipe was request to replace by Ship master and our workshop was complete the job perfectly.
With information from Ship master, the spare was fabricated and shift to the vessel. The old one was removed by hand cutting tool due to all bolt was rust and stuck to the pipe:

After removed the old one, fabricated exhaust pipe was replace. To be fit with the original one, the flange will weld on board, after adjust the orientation correctly. Support for the pipe with U bolt, bolts, nuts, gasket are replace also. The adjust and welding work have complete around 3 hours duration.
